So here it is…the moment Beautiful Day Designs has been waiting for.
Our fairytale story is finally ready for you to see.

We decided a few months ago that we wanted to do a shoot to introduce
Beautiful Day Designs – but we didn’t want a corporate studio shoot as that isn’t
who we are. So we went with a theme that suits us to the tea and the
perfect photographer to capture our fairytale world could only be
the very special Kim du Toit Photography. The result is priceless.
More than we could have dreamed – thank you Kim for capturing our unique
story and for bringing the fairytale to life.

Please take the time to check out Kim’s blog: www.kimdutoit.blogspot.com
you will be amazed at this talented girl – from weddings to engagement shoots, to
incredible lifestyle shoots – she has it all and you won’t be disappointed!

So you might ask – how did the fairytale start? Well here it is – have a peek for yourself!

“Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom, known as Beautiful Day Designs – there lived
two princesses. All day they would play with ribbon and beautiful pieces of paper.
Creating dreamy fairytales for all the happy couples due to be wed.

These princesses searched far and wide, fighting villainous dragons and great evil,
to find unique and pretty things to create these magical fairytales.
Gorgeous invites, divine menus, unique favours, sexy table settings, whimsical decor.

Their story goes on and lives in the heart of every fairytale created by
Beautiful Day Designs. A fairytale available to everyone who dreams of
    Happily Ever After.”

    From Megan about Robyn:
My favourite thing about our work day is it always starts with
a giant cup of tea and a chat - which almost always results in teasing
    and fits of giggles.
The thing I love most about Robyn is the smile she has for
everything - victory or defeat - and that always encourages me to
push forward and to keep going.
Here are some beautiful shots of Robyn as a sneak peak from
our latest shoot with the very talented Kim du Toit

It was such a privilege to be able to do the wedding stationery for this very special couple. They had their wedding at the very beautiful Hidden Valley Wine Farm in Stellenbosch. Sarah was such an easy going bride who wore a constant smile. Her and Alan are a perfect pair – I wish them every happiness in their future together. Here is a glimpse of their special day:

As promised, I am featuring the wonderful Aartsappel. The new flower shop in Paarl.
It is a darling little shop off Paarl main road with flowers, good coffee and internet facilities.
The decor is inspiringly beautiful – but better than that are the flowers that Tanya puts
    together with love.
    Here is her story:

“The story is quite interesting… even though I always dreamed of having a florist shop i never really planned to open one.. it all happened so fast. You can call it a love story if you like! My sister married a coffee roaster (Werner Pauw) and he always dreamed of expanding his business to a coffee house and not just a roasting shop. The two dreams fell in love and it gave me the oppertunity and boost to actually take the leap of faith and do it! We found the perfect venue nestled underneath a big umbrella oaktree! it used to be a church so it has lots of caracter and space… We serve yummy coffee and make seriously pretty flowers! and of course there are a few treats to knibble on!
I specialize in wedding flowers and decor and stock fresh flowers daily for our shop.
Come and visit our combo shop… Bean in Love featuring Aartsappel.”

Do yourself a favour and pop in at their lovely store – it is such a treat.
We hope you enjoy the inspirational flowers below created with love by Tanya.

stationery and of course the bridesmaid’s dresses.
Here is some stationery and decor inspiration from our wedding:

Please contact us with any special requests, we will gladly

We decided to have a pre-wedding fiesta a week before our
wedding and what fun we all had.
Our groomsmen, bridesmaids and immediate family
came dressed to the theme. Decor was done in guava pink,
turquoise, purple and red. Festive bunting hung from the ceiling.
We custom made place mats and my very clever mom did flower
arrangements in old jars. On the menu was: nachos, mozerella and
chilli salad and sticky chicken wings for starters. For mains we had a
goulash potjie and a durban curry with sambals. Dessert was
cheesecake, ice cream, chocolate sauce, milk tart and peppermint
crisp tart. Mojitos were the drink of the evening and the event was
hosted at the German Club in Paarl.

For details on hiring of Fiesta Decor – please contact us.
We can help you with all your decor from placemats to jars to
laser cut bunting. We will go to great lengths to make your event
a very special and memorable one.
